I just came across this great article called Digital Video Democratises Documentaries. It talks about how the ongoing digital revolution is really opening doors for documentary filmmakers. The article applies to filmmaking in general and it is very interesting to hear personal stories about how digital has allowed artists to achieve things they never thought possible.
Definitely check it out if you are interested in documentary film, but even if that’s not your cup of tea, I’m sure you will get something out of it.
