JVC announced that they are releasing a new professional HD camcorder that will record in native Final Cut Pro format. This means that you will be able to edit footage directly from the SSD card in the camera. Sounds pretty sweet if you ask me.
One question I have is if these files are raw, or if they are automatically compressed using a Final Cut Pro codec? Either way, this seems like a pretty good deal for shooting and working with HD in FCP easily.
