Going From Final Cut Pro to After Effects

fcp-to-aeGoing from Final Cut Pro to After Effects and working between them is often a pain. However, there are a few things that you can do to make your life easier. I just found this article over at SuiteTake that goes through one method to ease the pain.

The example they use is cutting your clips to audio in FCP then transferring that cut into AE. This way you can just focus on doing the graphics in AE and know that your clips will be timed to the music when you go back to Final Cut Pro. This is not a perfect workflow for every situation, but it’s definitely worth thinking about.
